Our beauty industry is constantly evolving in search of the next revolutionary product, we often tend to forget some simple ingredients we can incorporate into our everyday beauty routine that are cheap and effective. Today I want to focus on Vitamin E for face.
There are many Benefits to Vitamin E for face, Including Reducing Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Are you skeptical when it comes to using simple solutions for Big Problems? Do you feel using the cheapest solutions won’t give you the same level of results? If so, I am the same way sometimes. In this consumer world, it feels like anything that’s cheap must have a catch. I have dry skin which means that I am more prone to fine lines and wrinkles. I’m also almost 30 years old, hence I need to start thinking about anti aging ingredients. My philosophy in regards to prevention over treatment has led me to try a LOT of skincare products. Nevertheless, I have yet to find a revolutionary eye cream.
How does Vitamin E work?
Vitamin E is powerful antioxidant which helps protect your body from damage caused by free radicals which are produced by the toxins in the environment and we acquire it naturally from our food intake. But it also does wonders for your skin when applied topically.
I am not a doctor so please seek professional advice when it comes to ingesting Vitamin E. There are a few things you should take into account if you choose to ingest Vitamin E.
- Recommended daily dosage of 15 Milligrams (400 IU)
- Do not ingest Vitamin E if you have low iron of vitamin K deficiency
- Use This Guideline on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) website for the dosage based upon age, gender, and condition.
With that being said, I choose to use Vitamin E gel capsules on my skin and in my hair. I have seen a noticeable difference in my dark circles since I started using Vitamin E for my face. It also helps replenish collagen levels and delay the aging process so it will keep those fine lines at bay. When I consistently use Vitamin E on my entire face, my skin is softer, more even, and brighter. I also use it to moisturize my lips at night.
My method to applying Vitamin E on my Face
Although vitamin E gel is quiet thick in consistency, I personally do not mind the texture. I usually apply it at night and go to bed right after. I use a pin to poke a tiny hole in the capsule to allow the gel to come out but at a slow pace for control. You can dilute it by mixing it with your favorite moisturizer or facial oil. It can help with a lot of other skin concerns too (such as Pigmentation/scarring) but these are some of my favorite ways to use it.
