The good news is that it can be easily remedied with this simple at home hair mask recipe. I want to also add that a well balanced nutritious diet also plays an important role to your hairs health. Some of the important nutrients for hair are iron, protein, biotin, zinc, vitamin A, E, D and Omega 3 fatty acids. The 2 ingredients in this mask can be easily found in your kitchen and literally takes few minutes to make.

Ingredients:

1 Avocado

1 Egg Yolk

Method:

Peel and add 1 avocado and 1 egg yolk to a blender. Blend it until it becomes a smooth paste. You can also use a fork to mash up the avocado but it is hard to get a smooth consistency with a fork so you will have small chunks of avocado. The chunks can be hard to get out in the shower. If you choose to mash the avocado with a fork, just use a comb in the shower to get the small tedious pieces out.

Apply to dry hair and leave for 20-30 mins. Rinse with warm water and shampoo.

Additional tips:

After you are done shampooing, give your hair one last rinse with cold water. It will seal the hair cuticle making it lay smoothly thus giving you more silky and frizz free hair.

Avoid using harsh shampoos, excessive color treatments, long exposure to sun, wind and water.

Avoid washing your hair everyday and minimize use of heated styling tools as much as possible.
